Instructions
  1. Cream 1–1/2 cups sugar and 1/2 cup shortening together. Add egg, milk, flour, baking soda, and vanilla; beat together. Pour into a 9x13-inch pan. Add in rhubarb. Mix together remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
