Western Venison
This recipe is an easy way to prepare venison steak so it is tender and tasty.
  1. Beat evaporated milk and egg together.
  2. Pound steak to tenderize; dip steak in milk and egg mixture. Roll steak in the seasoned flour to coat. Brown steak in pan with shortening. Lay steak in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Cover loosely with foil and bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
