Ingredients
- 1–1/2 cups rhubarb diced
- 1 cup raisins or dates
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1–1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2–1/2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions
- In a pan, cook rhubarb, raisins, and water until soft. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by spoonful on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
