Instructions
  1. Combine sugar, salt, and milk. Bring to a boil stirring frequently.
  2. Cook to 232 degrees on a candy thermometer; or until it forms a soft ball.
  3. Remove from heat, immediately add peanut butter, vanilla, and butter. Beat until creamy and thick.
  4. Pour into buttered pan. Let stand until set.
