Ingredients
- 5 cups sliced fresh peaches (peeled, if desired)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar packed
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream optional

Instructions
- Toss peaches with brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Arrange in an 11-x 7-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine remaining dry ingredients and sift. Add egg; mix with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle mixture over the filling. Drizzle melted butter evenly over crumbs.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 1 hour or until peaches are soft and topping is golden.
- Serve warm or cold with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
