Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cups brown sugar packed
- 1/2 stick butter softened
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups flour
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups dates chopped
- 1 cup apples chopped
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 cups nuts chopped (such as pecans)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Instructions
- Mix together all ingredients in order as listed and pour into an 8- x 12-inch cake pan. It will be thick.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 2-1/2 hours. Check with a toothpick at that time.
- Cool well and keep in refrigerator with a covered lid.
- Serve thin slices; it will be a moist cake.
