Ingredients
- 1-1/2 - 2 lbs beef stew meat cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 Tbsp all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1–2 tsp pepper
- 1-1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce low sodium if desired
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp paprika
- 4 shiitake mushrooms or other mushrooms if unavailable
- 2 medium carrots sliced
- 3 medium red potatoes diced
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 stalk celery chopped

Instructions
- Place beef in slow cooker. In a small bowl, mix together flour, salt, and pepper; sprinkle over beef. Stir to coat each piece of beef with flour mixture.
- Add remaining ingredients into slow cooker and stir to mix well. Cover; cook on LOW 10–12 hours or on HIGH 4–6 hours. Stir before serving.
