- 2 cups flour
- 8 bacon strips cooked and crumbled
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup maple syrup

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, bacon, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, oil, and syrup until combined.
- Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
- Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups 2/3-full.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 15–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
