Ingredients
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup water or just enough to make a soft dough
- Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
- Combine all dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Add water and mix with a fork until soft dough is formed.
- Divide dough into four sections and pat into a round flat circle on a floured surface.
- Add 1-2 inches of oil to a large skillet and heat to 350 degrees. Fry dough until each circle is brown and crisp on both sides.
- Top with taco toppings such as ground meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc.
