Ice Box Pickles
peeled and sliced
cleaned and slivered
sliced in rings
In a large pan, add salt and water, Mix cucumbers, green pepper, and onion, and let sit overnight. The next day, drain but do not rinse.
Mix sugar, vinegar, celery seed, and mustard seed together; mix well, until sugar is dissolved.
Add cucumber slices, sliced onion, and slivered green pepper to the syrup.
Store in a plastic container in refrigerator. Enjoy!
