Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in separate bowl and add to creamed mixture.
  4. Alternating with bananas, stir in dates, oranges, coconut, almonds, and cherries.
  5. Pour into two greased loaf pans. Bake for 50–55 minutes.
  6. Cool 10 minutes before removing bread from pans to a wire rack.
  7. Cool completely before cutting. Tastes even better when eaten the following day.
