lard

onions
sliced

salt
Instructions
Deep fry onions in lard until onions begin to float.
Turn off heat, onions will continue to fry.
Allow mixture to cool down.
Pour into oven proof bowls or metal containers (plastic will melt if lard is too hot) store in the refrigerator. Served best on homemade bread.
