Instructions
- Cream butter; add sugar, then eggs, nuts (if using), and extract of choice.
- Sift flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder together, and mix thoroughly into butter mixture.
- Roll dough until it is flat (approx. 1/8- to 1/4-inches thick) onto a floured board or countertop.
- Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters.
- Place onto greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
