Ingredients
Crumb Mixture
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 6 cups bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp celery salt
- 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
Filling:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1-1/2 cups chicken broth

Instructions
Crumb Mixture:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together and line the bottom and sides of a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Bake for 15 minutes.
Filling:
- Melt butter. Brown flour in butter; slowly add milk and then broth.
- This will create a thickened sauce.
Chicken:
- In a medium saucepan, add carrots and enough water to cover them; cook until softened.
- In a separate saucepan, repeat the same process with the potatoes.
- Drain carrots and potatoes and combine.
- Add chicken and stir into the filling.
- Pour mixture into crumb bed. Bake for 30–40 minutes.
