Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grill or cook bratwurst in a baking dish in the oven for 35–40 minutes. Cool slightly and cut into 1/2-inch slices. After bratwurst has been in the oven for 15 minutes, bring a saucepan of water to a boil. Add egg noodles and cook for 8–9 minutes; drain. In a large bowl, whisk the soup and milk until smooth. Add the bratwurst, noodles, peas, carrots, salt, and pepper, and stir well. Transfer mixture to a greased 9-x13-inch casserole dish. Cover and bake for 35–40 minutes. Serve with pumpernickel bread.
