Apple Walnut Cake
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour a 9-inch pan.
  3. In large bowl, beat butter; add 1 cup sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Sift salt, baking powder, and flour into batter, stir well.
  5. Spread batter in a greased pan.
  6. Place apples in batter.
  7. Stir in walnuts and remaining 2 Tablespoons of sugar.
  8. Bake for approx. 40–45 minutes.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes.
  10. Top with ice cream and enjoy!
