This recipe is in response to Amanda Tutor from Ashland in the February 2020 issue of WECN. It is a great recipe, and I have made it many times. You could use strawberry, cherry, or raspberry gelatin and all would be very good. P.S. My family lived in Ashland for 12 years before being transferred to Eau Claire.

This recipe has been in my family for decades. It works well with apples, peaches and all kinds of berries. It is easy to make and can be served with whipped cream or ice cream.
This is in response to a reader request for an easy crock pot recipe. This couldn’t be easier. Very few quantities for ingredients are listed as this can be easily adjusted depending on how many people you want to feed. I have also tweaked this recipe to create an Asian or Tex-Mex meal.
