Area youth ages 8-17 will have a chance to take to the skies on Saturday, August 13th, as Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 931 hosts a Young Eagles Flight Rally at Necedah Airport in Necedah, WI. Following the flight, each young person will receive a certificate making him or her an official Young Eagle. Their name will then be entered into the “World’s Largest Logbook,” which is on permanent display at the EAA Air Adventure Museum in Oshkosh, WI.
Those attending the flight rally on Saturday, August 13th are asked to come to the entrance/parking lot off Middle/John Streets (790 W Middle St). Flights will begin at 8 am and end at 12 pm. Legal Guardians must be present to sign permission slips.
