History of One Room School Houses. The Wittenberg Area Historical Society is presenting a history of area one room school houses that pre-dated our Witt.-Birn School district. Maps, artifacts, photos and articles will be on display. Guest Speaker Susan Apps-Bodilly will present a history of rural schools and how the end of that era took place. She will also have her book on this subject available to purchase. The event is free! Our museum is located in a one room parochial school and will be open for exploring! 715-881-0326
