Brighten up your garden and yard with color and texture!
Flowering and vegetable plants grown by local gardeners raise funds for the Ocooch Mountain Humane Society, with area greenhouses joining in to donate plants for the sale. Interesting grasses are a focus for this 15th year of the annual sale.
Questions are welcomed by experienced gardeners. Lightly used garden tools, original, hand-made garden art, a silent auction, and a door prize add to the busy day.
The Animal House food stand is part of the fun, serving Chicago Dogs, or you may enjoy a Maxwell Street Polish sandwich or a Wisconsin Bratwurst sandwich for lunch. 608-647-6453 (calls 6 to 8 p.m.)
