Sweet Rides & Sweet Pies is sponsored by the Westby Area Historical Society as their major annual fundraiser. The car show, which also sells more than 600 pieces of homemade pie with ice cream, will bring more than 275 cars to Westby.
The entry fee to show a vehicle is only $5, and online preregistration is now open. The show gives more than 70 awards, will feature Buzzy’s Pinewood Derby Race with Westby Cub Scout Pack 76, and has raffles for children and adults. Special guest Dennis Gage, from the TV show “My Classic Car,” will be joining the event again this year to talk with car owners and enjoy a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie. The event will also have food and craft vendors, and is only 1 block from Westby’s Main Street shopping area.
