This free event is open to the public. There are interactive activities, including:
Bats with Junior Ranger Phoenix, Backyard Fishing Game, Gyotaku Painting, Fall Phone Camera Art, and more. Photography by Jeri Mehne on display in the Visitor Center. Breakfast and lunch pizza available for purchase in cooperation and with thanks to Kwik Trip.
Special presentation of live owls and a bat from Marsh Haven Nature Center at 1:00. Reservations are required for the owl presentation at refugereservations765@gmail.com or by calling 608-565-2551.
Meet children’s author Deb Biecher doing readings and signings of her new book – Fishing Hullabaloo! Learn about fishing at the refuge and about the critters that eat fish. Book for sale in the Karner Korner Nature Store inside the Visitor’s Center.
