An awareness event/day for the community and families, focusing on education, assistance, and resources in dealing with Parkinson’s Disease.
The STAR Center will be putting on this event. Donations will support STAR Center Parkinson’s Disease Exercise programs, local education, and support programs in the community. Donations will also go toward the Michael J. Fox Foundation and future research.
Registration can be done online or day of event. The walk is free but donations are encouraged. There is also an optional $20 t-shirt fee. T-shirts must be ordered by April 20th at 12:00 pm.
Event Timeline:
10:00 am: In Person Registration and T-shirt Pick Up Opens
11:00 am: Opening Ceremony
11:15 am: Walk Begins (1 mile loop)
12:00-2:00 pm: Resource Booths, Live Music, Food Truck, Children Activities, Exercise Demonstrations
