The latest art of Jean Accola, mixed media, will be on exhibit at the Artisan Forge Studios Gallery, at 1106 Mondovi Rd., Eau Claire, WI. during the month of September, 2022. The artist’s reception will be Friday, September 9th from 12 to 4pm. Yata will be providing live music for guests. All are welcome!
Mixing it Up, will feature the works that incorporate textiles either as art quilts, with no paint or fabric collaged acrylic paintings. The paintings go back to her travels in Grenada, West Indies in 2016 to 2022. Some of the 2022 multimedia canvas paintings were created in Barbados and others were inspired by a trip to Costa Rica resulting in a series of bird art quilts; from the exotic Resplendent Quetzal to the Northern Loon.
