The public is invited to attend the Mardi Gras Pancake Supper in the Fellowship Hall at Cable United Church of Christ.
The meal will include pancakes, toppings, sausages, ham, syrup, and beverages. Gluten-free pancakes will be available upon request. Free-will offerings at the door will fund the Cable United Church of Christ Scholarship for graduating seniors in the Drummond Area School District. Pancake Tuesday, also traditionally known as Shrove Tuesday, takes place in many Western European countries, including England. It began as a way to use up rich foods such as eggs, milk, and sugar before fasting during Lent.
For more information about the pancake supper, please phone the church at 715-798-3066.
