Join the Friends of Sandhill as we welcome Anna DeMers to give a presentation on the harvest and utilization of cattail parts! We will go out into the marsh located at Sandhill Wildlife Area (which requires hip boots or waders) and practice harvesting. She’ll cover the edible parts as well as the structural use of cattail leaves.
$20 registration fee. Register by sending a $5 check (made out to Friends of Sandhill) to Vicki Palen at 3837 County Rd N, Milladore, WI 54454. Please include list of names and contact phone number.
