Citizen Scientists Welcome!
Join us for an evening of bats, science, and night hiking at Camp Nawakwa! We’ll begin with a short bat talk, gather by the bat houses at sunset, and then head out on a guided bat monitoring hike around the lake.

Schedule:

• Bat Talk: 7:30 PM (on the flat)

• Sunset by the Bat Houses: 8:03 PM

• Bat Monitoring Hike: 8:30 PM Hike length: ~60 minutes

What to Bring:

• Headlamp or flashlight (required)

• Red lights highly preferred

• Dress appropriately for a night hike

Good to Know:
• Weather contingent

• Bats do not emerge in the rain

• Family‑friendly and curiosity encouraged
