The Knox Creek Heritage Center in Brantwood, WI, dedicated to preserving the heritage of the pioneers who settled these great Northwoods, will be hosting “A Country Afternoon”.
A social gathering with food, beverages, and local entertainment, including a chili cook-off (winner receives a $100 gift card) and a pie auction! Grounds open at 11 a.m., and lunch will be served from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Homemade Finnish bread and Pulla (a cardamom braid bread) will be available for purchase. Our Gift Shop will be open with a lot of items available, including the reimagined “I’m From Brantwood Hey” T-shirts. Bring your favorite homemade pie as a donation for this year’s pie auction. This is one of our main fundraisers, and all proceeds go toward maintaining our unique site.
