A Spoon Gathering is an event for spoon carvers (and would-be spoon carvers or people curious about spoon carving) and green woodworkers of all sorts to get together to carve spoons, talk carving and carving tools, share techniques and tools and carving wood, trade or sell spoons or tools.
Camping is available in the park. The Gathering starts Friday afternoon (9/8) and runs through noon on Sunday (9/10).
Events include a beginners spoon carving class, axe work, sharpening, & detailing demonstrations, a potluck with live music Saturday evening, and a Spoon Pass on Sunday.
