Thoroughly cream butter with sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Add alternately with water to egg mixture. Stir in sauerkraut. Turn into 2 greased & floured 8" round or square pans or 9" x 13" pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
